Studio Boris Polsek
Studio Boris Polsek is an independent design studio in Almere, the Netherlands, operating since 2017. The work spans objects, lights and sound. Simple parts and explicit geometry give each object its structure. Materials and construction come before decoration. The approach is direct: make the parts understandable, and let the object remain the focus.
Coconut
Coconut is a portable Bluetooth speaker built around a real coconut shell. The shells are selected and emptied in Vietnam, where the insides are used. Each shell is processed individually.
The speaker is fully built in the Netherlands. A long development process, including work with Sound Hub Denmark, brought together custom electronics and a full-range driver made in Italy.
Cocobo is Coconut for trade, by Studio Boris Polsek.
Made in the Netherlands
Each speaker is fully built in Almere.
